Tigersharks Season Updates
Tigersharks Parents,
The Tigersharks Swim Season is fast approaching - May 31. We are getting excited to finally be back at Fowler - after the COVID Year. Your coaches are completing the required training on concussions, sudden cardiac arrest, protecting the children, and Title IX. Some are reviewing GOSwim videos looking for better methods to teach the techniques specific to each stroke. One has completed certification in dry land strength training. Others are working on training plans. So we are looking forward to being back on deck coaching and having fun with your swimmers this summer.
We have several changes to the staff this year..
Coach Nan Long will again be the primary coach for Rookie I and II; assisting her as Volunteer Coaches will be Sara Knight, Loulie Frazier, Libby Neubauer, and Maya Mauzy
Coach John Noffsinger will again be the head coach as well as the primary coach for Junior I, Junior II, and Pre-seniors
Coach Marion Knoll will be the primary coach for Seniors. Marion is new this year as a Tigersharks coach but she has been your Tigersharks Board President for many years. Marion is the head coach for the SAS Swim Team, and many of the Tigershark Seniors are her SAS swimmers.

Rookie Parents — To help us with tryouts - to make sure we maintain COVID safe distances - we need to develop a schedule. Once we have everyones' information, we will develop a schedule and share it at the Parents meeting on Monday May 24.
Please note if your swimmer is not able to demonstrate the necessary skills, Coach Max will have swimming classes that start on Monday May 31 the same day Tigersharks jump in. Then if during the season they are able to master the skills they may join Tigersharks if they want to and we have space.
As always what questions or concerns do you have?
